What's the over/under before we hear that Pettite will "un-retire" and pitch the second half of the season for the Yankees? I'm saying May 15th. That is unless of course, he doesn't sign for the whole season.

Well, right. You took the over at 6.50, so that's your bet. But the line moves as a result of your bet – so the next person to bet gets a higher over/under to deal with. Maybe the line should only move to about 6.65 or so, but with how dead things are around here, I think 7.00 seems about right.

Just to clarify, that was a Suzyn Waldman dig...but now that you mention it I would bet that he wants to come back, particularly for the post season, assuming the Yankees make the post season...since their GM thinks you have the better team and all.
