Yes, exactly. That's why I did the same thing you did, and said "they're both going to win 20," when clearly I meant "each."

Uhhhh I missed that part. <Insert icon of guy hitting himself with a baseball bat here>

Who wants to make a bet on Andy Pettitte staying retired? My guess is he'll be back around the ASB.

I'm thinking around May 7th. Suzyn Waldman is already stalking the owner's box.

He's not retired. He wants to hang back and see how the Skanks do. If it appears he could re-enter as a saving hero, he'll get "the hunger" back, especially considering it will come with extra cash for a short season of work.

You've obviously never been to Heaven on Earth, Deer Park, Texas. Why would he go to that cesspool of deviants when he can hang with his family in Texas?

I'd say the first time his wife tells him to take the kids to school, he'll be calling Mr. CASHman.

What's he got left, like seven years at best? Thank goodness.

"No cameras!" the Diva ordered in exchange for luxury-box seats at the Superbowl with his date, Mary Something-Beard.

The Yankee spending spree continues... One of these years the Sox are going to make some acquisitions that the Yankees just can't out do.

Quote

The Yankees have adding veteran right-hander Kevin Millwood, Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated tweets....

With Millwood, who was 4-16 with a 5.10 ERA with the Orioles last season, the Yankees have a proven backup plan if needed.

Also, the following still holds true.

The Sergio Mitre era is over.

Looks like Yankees fans will be seeing a lot of Freddy Garcia, Kevin Millwood, and Bartolo Colon.

Of course, if you're seeing Bartolo Colon, you're seeing a lot of Bartolo Colon.

(That was a fat joke)

Nice. Excellent crop of young talent there. The Fat, the abusive and the absolute suck are all accounted for. Bravo Mr. Cashman.

I think the Sox are equal to or better than the Yanks as presently constituted. Barring injury, I'll take the 7.25 under.

I see that Mike Mussina is throwing out the first pitch today. Given our rotation, I think he should throw the next 97 pitches as well.

It's Opening Day and the Tigers lead the Yanks 1-0 after 2.

If the Tigers hold on the Sox magic number drops to 162.

Robinson Cano committing an error in the first game of the season: I like this. If we can get back the old Robbie who sometimes forgets that there's more to defense than picking daisies, that could be a great development.

Also, I either never noticed or forgot that Brandon Inge shows up in box scores as B Inge.

Binge.

If he knocks in the winning run for the Tigers, I will go drink 43 beers in his honor.
