With the break, it more or less amounts to missing one start and being pushed back in the rotation for a second start. I assume that getting 6 1/3 innings out of the starters in the last 2 games combined had something to do with the decision...otherwise, would have made more sense to skip the start before the All Star break, re-evaluate after the break, and retroactively DL him if necessary.
