Here's hoping that Gonzalez mashes back on the West Coast, that Crawford stays at 7th in the lineup, and that Jed Lowrie continues to be a walking God.

Two more lefties to get through *sigh*.
I'd bet that Gonzalez never would have signed here had he known that there were so many lefties pitching in the AL.
I don't have high expectations for Lackey tonight but the team has momentum (is a 3 game winning streak momentum?) and he pitched well against his old team last season. His ERA vs. LAA was 3.38 vs a season ERA of 4.40. He also had 3 wins in 2010 vs them.

Our newest member Rsoxrule agrees with you. From yesterday's gamethread:
"I am still sitting here laughing at the Big HR from Carl Crawford today.. I was jumpimg up and down yelling I knew he would come around.!!! Lackey simply held me spellbound as well as I am sure he did the Angels line up.. What a series!! Nothing but solid pitching the last five games! Offense and Defense just stellar performances all around.. Everyone on that team does something. This is why I love the Red Sox Its just not one player that does it .. They all do!"
Well said!

Buchholz looks like "Trying out for the team" model and not "Stud ace in waiting" model.
Carl Crawford - I think i saw him cry last night after the deep flyout. He looks lost and sad.
Pedey's foot: It bothers me, knowing that pin is in there and that he could go down at any minute.
JenksnBard: Our two headed set up machine has not been impressive YET.
Good things
Gonzalez
Lowrie
Papelbon
Beckett
Daisuke
All looking great so far. The Power will come for A-Gon, I think the shoulder is probably holding him back a little.
In all, they are a playoff team and will be fine.

Actually he did pretty good until he tweak his elbow somehow in the 5th inning, it was Jenks that puked it up and blew it.
1st post since last summer. nice to be back!! :) if Sox can go 8-3 for their home stand then we will be fine. :beer chugs:
