I haven't seen any levitation, or 200 mph fastballs or 700 foot homeruns.

Meh.

If "Red Sox during the winning streak" was a player, he would be tied with Matt Joyce for 5th in the AL in OPS, behind Jose Bautista, David Ortiz, Miguel Cabrera, and Adrian Gonzalez.

You should try watching the games, asshole.

I NEVER miss the games. I heisman my family in times of dire need to watch the games. How dare you insult me like that. It cuts me to my hardened, angry, emotionless core.

Where were you when Pedroia hit his 748 foot home run in Toronto?

The Sox should try to get one of those guys. They are pretty good.

Except for Vagbury, or Ellsgina, or whatever. He sucks. No tolerance for pain at all.

"Ellsbury" is Navajo for "Luongo."

Did you see that catch that Coco made?

Negatives:

Wheeler is not the guy I thought he'd be
Matsuzaka
Jenks
Drew
Lowrie's shoulder
Heidi's sideline reporting is not as sharp as I'd like and she's a full year older than she was last year at this time
No toupe for Remy

Team pessimism is the hizouse!

Not to mention the fact that the Yankees were lucky enough last night to have their cement shoes wearing SS with the .260 BA and .324 SLG get hurt, so they will likely improve over the next week or two.

for the sake of clarification, his 748-foot homerun was measured in Canadian feet. In American feet, it was 'only' a 400-foot home run. In Canadian feet, Dustin Pedroia is 7'4 inches tall.

You will now be blamed if he ever demands a trade to Toronto.

Did you expect something like a 1.17 ERA and .501 OPS against?

That would just be crazy.

And/or, that would just be his numbers since coming off the DL.

Sorry, I don't have Bill James fellating me under my desk right now or I'd have had those stats at my finger tips like you. Speaking of which, I ripped my thumbnail out last night trying to fix my pool, which is basically a giant birdbath due to the lack of rain here. It's 100 every day and it hasn't rained in.....Christ, I have no clue. There's birdshit all over and in the pool and aside from erecting scarecrows or putting my fat, lazy, pathetic cats out there....I'm not sure what to do. (The birds could probably sit on them without fear at this point).
