One sport that didnt quite make it to the Olympic level, but Ted Turner had it on his infamous "Goodwill Games". It was called Motoball. You basically had to play soccer on a motorcycle. Poor SKip Caray, the son of Harry, got the misfortune of having to announce this disaster-bacle. What an embarrasment that had to have been.

Come on, I liked this. But for most rediculous I would have to nominate Speed Walking


I love it .... Imagine people working out for hours on hand every day for the next Olympics Speed Walking Champion.

The thing about field hockey as it has been explained to me is that while here it a female sport, in other countries (i.e. Australia and just about the rest of the field hockey world) it is played primarily by men. I don't think they wear skirts - unless the team is from Scotland.


Not only that, but in other countries where it's played by men, it's absurdly violent.
