The Boyz have a score to settle with these Rangers after the opening series debacle. Just do it (without Youk or Papi...)

Whew...I was getting a little worried Annie.

Where's ghostoffox? He's been the designated game thread starter!

I was driving back from Springfield after a long day with doctor's appointments for my mother. She's in a cardiac rehab facility now. Her surgery was successful, but it's going to be a long haul to get back to where she was before she went into heart failure.

Anyway, I was afraid that I was going to have to stop in a rest area on the turnpike to post the game thread, but I got home in time!

Anni, if you miss one without notifying us I think we'll find it in our hearts to forgive you.

It may cost you some points on your next yearly review though.

What is annoying is that there is no wireless reception in the building where my mother is staying for her cardiac rehab. No cellphone service! The area is rural and the signals are weak. I can get cellphone service outside, away from the building. I have an "air card" for my netbook, but it doesn't do me any good inside the building. If I wanted to post from there I'd have to walk outside and sit on the lawn~

I really hate umpires.

Edit: Seriously, that jack off turned an inning ending double play into a single, and as I type this there's a single so now 1st and 3rd with 1 out and 1 run in because of that horrible ****ing call.

The offense needs to put them in a position where one stupid call by the umps doesn't matter. They have to get to Wilson. We know that Bedard was not going to shut out the Rangers anyway.

I cannot accept that there are places in the civilized world where you cannot get a wireless signal. This is America!

One day my kids will be telling their kids how "back in the day" when they were younger you couldn't get wireless signals everywhere. My grandchildren will then gasp in astonishment and come running to me to find out if it's true or not.

All I have to say is if we are going to play the Rangers in the playoffs, we're screwed!! Period!! I hope Angels can catch a hot streak going.

I was scratched from the line-up tonight. I had to make a trip to pick up my passport after having a Chinese visa placed in it. I just got home a few minutes ago.

As an aside, Texas is stupid.

It's easy to have a great lineup when you're stealing signs.

Plus, at least the Angels don't kill their fans.
